- Once approved, you become a trusted member so you can start listing your house, holiday home or RV for exchange- let the excitement begin.
2. List Your Property or Motorhome
- Add your listing: Introduce your property/RV by uploading photos, show case & describe the amenities, set availability (dates your home or vehicle is available).
- For homes: decide how many guests, pet-policy, cleaning/house-rules. For RVs: driver licence requirements, vehicle condition, permitted uses.
- We provide the ability to upload your home’s calendar of availability.
3. Browse & Match Available Exchanges
- Use SwitchnStay’s search tools to find listings in destinations you’d like to visit (houses/holiday homes) or motorhomes you’d like to swap with.
- Send an exchange request to the Member listing the property/vehicle.
- Once you join and list your house or motorhome; search the countries and homes/RV’s of interest and start swapping, even if it’s not simultaneous as most owners are very flexible and happy to discuss options.
4. Agree the Exchange Details
- Confirm the dates, guest/driver details, hand-over process (keys or vehicle), condition expectation, and any additional costs (utilities, fuel, cleaning).
- For houses: agree the house rules (clarity & transparency is the key)
- For Motorhomes: agree driver age/licence, mileage, off‐road limits, etc.
5. Complete the Exchange
- Settle on the agreed date, use the property or vehicle as agreed. Leave it in the expected condition (normal wear & tear excepted) we value respect of members properties/RV’s above everything else. After all it is a privilege to join a family where you would like your property/RV treated with respect as well.
- After the stay or trip, both Members review each other (building trust in the community, this is the hidden treasure in developing trust)
